Instructional Designer

Description

Supports IM training needs of departments across the organization through design, production, maintenance and distribution of IM instructional materials. Defines and maintains standards for training deliverables for the entire IM program. Essential Job Functions :

• Develops templates and style guidelines for lesson plans, learner guides, tip sheets, posters, diagrams and other all instructional aids used within the IM training program (hereafter referred to as “training deliverables”).
• Ensures all existing IM training deliverables adhere to template and style guidelines.
• Ensures all new IM training deliverables adhere to template and style guidelines.
• Maintains a well-organized, central repository of all IM training deliverables.
• Responds to ad-hoc requests for IM training deliverable development.
• Incorporates adult learning principles and instructional design best practices into training deliverable development.
• Advances the state of the art of the IM instructional design process.
• Serves as an IM instructor backup if lead instructor cannot provide instruction. Co-teaches application classes when large audiences require additional support.
• Contributes to development and maintenance of e-learning scripts and lessons for IM applications as needed.
• Coordinates activities of assigned projects or particular phases of a given project. Develops and creates detailed work plans, timelines and other appropriate documentation, identifies appropriate resources needed and provides timely status reports.
• Performs job functions adhering to service principles with customer service focus of innovation, service excellence and teamwork to provide the highest quality care and service to our patients, families, co-workers and others.

Education Bachelor's Degree (Required) Pay Range $76,960.00-$125,840.00 SalaryAt Lurie Children’s, we are committed to competitive and fair compensation aligned with market rates and internal equity, reflecting individual contributions, experience, and expertise.
