Overview
The Administrative Assistant for Board Relations is accountable for providing staff support to the Board of Trustees.
Responsibilities
- Provides administrative support for the ARH Board of Trustee and the President and Chief Executive Officer.
- Provides staff support to the Chairman of the Board of Trustees.
- Prepares correspondence, reports, etc., some of which may be confidential nature.
- Works with ad hoc Board committees to prepare drafts and final documents, i.e. policies and procedures, by-laws, resolutions, etc.
- Prepares minutes of Board meetings.
- Makes arrangements for Board functions, i.e. meetings, conference calls, etc.
- May serve as the Assistant Secretary to the Board.
- May make travel arrangements for Board members.
- Maintains files of all Board activities.
- Provides coverage for the President in the absence of the President's Assistant.
- Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications
Baccalaureate Degree preferred with 2-4 years experience as an Executive Secretary or related position or, Associate Degree with 4-5 years experience as an Executive Secretary or related position.
