Stock Clerk

POSITION SUMMARY

Under general supervision, the stock clerk performs clerical and physical tasks involved in the receiving, storing, and issuing of equipment, materials, supplies, merchandise, or tools. The stock clerk also follows established guidelines and processes to maintain inventory records of items in work site stockroom or warehouse.

TYPICAL DUTIES : 1.

• Verifies inbound shipments against packing slips to ensure accuracy of items being delivered and issues parts to fulfill service order requests.

11. May distribute stock among production workers, keeping records of material issued.

12. Processes real-time systematic transactions for moving materials using RF scan guns.

13. On occasion, work requires local travel to other facilities.

14. Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS :

High School Diploma or GED

CERTIFICATES OR LICENSES REQUIRED :

Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance :

WORK ENVIRONMENT :

Work is primarily performed at a customer’s location in an office / shop environment with limited privacy and some exposure to background noise and / or noise from equipment. Transporting to locations with the work site may be required. Employees may also be exposed to extreme cold or heat.
