Entry Level Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Civil Engineer to support a variety of incoming projects, including commercial, multi-family residential, multi-disciplinary, and retail developments. The candidate will work closely with senior engineers to provide expertise in stormwater design, land development, traffic engineering, and landscape architecture. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with senior engineers to support various projects.

Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D for designing and drafting.

Contribute to stormwater design, land development, and traffic engineering projects.

Participate in landscape architecture planning.

Communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

0-5+ years of experience in site / civil or school-focused projects, with a preference for entry-level candidates.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Knowledge of land development, stormwater, and traffic engineering.

CAD certificate.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.

EIT license.

Experience with land development, stormwater design, or traffic engineering project types.

Work Environment

Our workplace features an open space that encourages interaction between employees. We value feedback from our team and maintain a non-authoritarian atmosphere. New employees are expected to be on-site five days a week initially, with work hours from 8 : 30am to 5 : 00pm, including a 30-minute lunch break. We foster a team-oriented environment with activities such as Yankee games, team barbecues, and a softball league.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Armonk, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $41.35 / hr.
