job_description.job_card.job_descriptionCurate, and manage engaging content including posts, videos, stories, and interactive media for character brands Develop content calendars that align with character storylines, product launches, and seasonal campaigns Write compelling copy that captures each character's unique voice and personality Collaborate with creative partners to ensure content consistency across all brand touchpoints Manage daily operations of social media accounts across multiple platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube, Discord) Monitor community platforms for discussions, trends, and fan-generated content Respond to comments, questions, and feedback in a timely and authentic manner Moderate discussions and enforce community guidelines to maintain a safe environment Track and analyze community engagement metrics including growth, activity levels, and sentiment Monitor brand presence and conduct sentiment analysis of fan feedback Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to marketing and product teams Generate regular reports on community performance and campaign effectiveness Organize and host virtual events, live streams, Q&As, and community meetups Plan and execute social media campaigns around character launches and partnerships Coordinate fan contests, challenges, and user-generated content initiatives Attend industry events and conventions to represent Visional Pop's character brands Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or related field 3+ years of experience in social media management or community engagement Proven track record of growing and managing online communities, preferably in entertainment or character-based brands Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to adapt voice for different characters Proficiency in social media management tools, analytics platforms, and content creation software Strong understanding of pop culture trends, anime, gaming, and character fandoms Experience in entertainment, gaming, anime, or character IP industries Knowledge of Discord or fun related community management Experience with influencer partnerships and creator collaborations Community Building : Proven ability to foster authentic relationships and build loyal brand advocates Analytical Thinking : Strong analytical skills to interpret data and optimize community strategies Multitasking : Excellent project management skills to handle multiple character brands simultaneously Cultural Sensitivity : Understanding of global fan cultures and community dynamics Crisis Management : Ability to handle negative feedback and community issues professionally Creative and collaborative work environment Professional development opportunities and industry conference attendance Flexible work arrangements and growth opportunities Based in Los Angeles area with hybrid work options Occasional travel for industry events and partner meetings Collaborative team environment with international colleagues
About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and creative Social Community Manager to build, grow, and nurture online communities around Visional Pop's character IP brands. This role will serve as the voice of our characters and the bridge between our beloved brands and their global fanbase, fostering authentic connections and driving engagement across all digital platforms.
