Must-Have :

Experience with triage and circulating C-sections.

Must be flexible and may be required to float to other units.

Must live more than 150 miles from the facility.

Description :

Traveler must have experience with triage and circulating C-sections.

Flexibility is necessary as you may be asked to float to other areas.

Experience in Labor and Delivery is required.

Minimum of 3 years of experience is preferred.

First-time travelers are accepted.

Certifications required include BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN.

Responsibilities include administration of blood and blood products, amnioinfusion, antepartum care, and assisting with high-risk deliveries.

Additional duties may include circulating for C-sections, recovery post-C-section, and conducting newborn assessments.

Experience with patient ratios and charting systems is preferred.

Knowledge of various medical protocols and procedures in Labor and Delivery is essential.

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills are crucial for the role.

Nurses must maintain a high standard of care for patients during labor, delivery, and recovery.

The role includes teaching discharge plans to parents and providing lactation support.

Skills in operating various medical equipment and adhering to safety protocols are required.

Candidates must be capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
