SMS Data Processor

CACI is seeking a detail-oriented SMS Data Processor to support the Standard Missile Assessment Group at Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Corona. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, processing, and validating weapons life cycle data on a daily basis. Responsibilities include :

  • Collect, process, and validate weapons life cycle data daily
  • Update data tables in various databases according to NSWC Corona Standard Operating Procedures
  • Perform data entry, editing, and processing of missile life cycle information, including configuration, logistics, test, warranty, and more
  • Perform Data Transfer
  • Execute data transfers (MTA / DTA) from classified to unclassified systems using established COMNAVNETWARCOM instructions
  • Conduct validation and quality assurance on incoming data prior to database entry
  • Prepare, validate, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Work independently and perform tasks with high accuracy

Qualifications :

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Proficiency in database management and data entry
  • Familiarity with military weapons systems and related terminology
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Desired :

  • Experience with Ordnance Information System (OIS), Surface Missile Engineering Production System (SMEPS), and Firing Experience Data (FED)
  • Prior experience in a military or defense-related data processing role
  • Familiarity with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) information systems
  • Pay Range : This posting is for a position covered by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCA). The pay and benefits provided for this position will meet or exceed the minimum required amounts detailed in the wage determination issued by the Department of Labor and made applicable to this position, as incorporated into CACI's government contract for the work location. Minimum Required Hourly Wage : $25.27. There are a host of other factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographical location, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
