Chief Financial Officer

Dartmouth Partners has been retained by a leading mid‑market private equity firm to hire a Chief Financial Officer for one of its portfolio companies in the Consumer Services sector. The business is a high‑growth organization currently generating $155 million in revenue and seeks a CFO with deep experience in similar environments, ideally within private‑equity‑backed entities.

Responsibilities

Prior experience within a PE or related investor‑backed environment

Strong understanding of consumer services environments

CFO leadership experience within $125–200 million revenue organisations

Key processes and ERP evaluation

Prior M&A activity and subsequent integration requirements

In‑depth understanding of FP&A and KPIs to professionalise the organisation

Assist in defining company strategy and applying new procedures and ideas where required

Comfortable with consistent liaison and communication between the investor and the organisation

Ensuring effective internal controls and compliance

Supporting the CEO on internal and external business activities

Hiring and supporting a best‑in‑class Accounting and Finance team

Additional Requirements

Prior CFO leadership

CPA or MBA preferred
