Veterinary Assistant ER / ICU

VCA All Pet Emergency Center is hiring an experienced Veterinary Assistant with a passion for emergency medicine to join our team! (Part Time)

Location : 104 S Heidelbach Ave, Evansville, IN 47713

We provide after hours emergency and critical care services in Evansville, IN, open weekday nights, weekends, and holidays.

Shift Hours :

Monday 6 pm - Tuesday 8 am

Tuesday evenings : CLOSED

Wednesday 6 pm - Thursday 8am

Thursday 6 pm - Friday 8 am

Friday 6 pm - Monday 8 am

Major Holidays open 24 hours

About the Role

As Veterinary Assistant, you will help create and maintain a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our patients and clients. Duties will include :

Client education and communication

Patient triage

Venipuncture

Catheter placement

Radiology

Physical examinations and patient assessment

Assisting with surgery and anesthesia

Laboratory work

Pharmacy

Patient recovery

Compassionate patient care
