Overview

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer who is passionate about building creative, scalable, and reliable software solutions to solve complex business challenges. Youll join a collaborative and growing software team focused on SymmetricDS, a platform that enables fast, secure, and dependable data replication for organizations worldwide.

Since 2007, SymmetricDS has empowered global enterprises to integrate data from diverse systems, delivering meaningful insights and operational efficiency across industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate as part of an agile engineering team to design, develop, and enhance core software products.
• Translate software requirements into high-quality technical implementations.
• Participate in 24x7 on?call support rotation (approximately once per month).
• Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis on customer?reported issues.
• Document defects and coordinate timely resolutions.
• Partner with cross?functional teams to ensure accuracy, reliability, and quality of deliverables.
• Present technical topics and demonstrate functionality to internal and external stakeholders.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to architectural decision?making.
• Lead small teams in achieving development goals and mentor junior engineers.
• Engage with and support the open?source community related to the platform.
