The Alumni Medical Library at Boston University seeks a collaborative professional to serve as Electronic Resources Librarian. The Alumni Medical Library serves the faculty, staff and students of the Boston University Schools of Medicine, Dental Medicine and Public Health. Reporting to the Assistant Director, Library Services, the Electronic Resources Librarian will have broad responsibilities in collections management, including assessment, record keeping and promotion. This position works closely with access services, resource sharing and education services. Job duties include :
Required Skills
The successful candidate will have a master's degree in library science or related field with 3-5 years of related experience. The degree requirement may be waived with significant experience. Advanced knowledge with Ex Libris software including Alma Analytics, Primo, and Leganto is strongly preferred. The successful candidate is a detail orientated, self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, diverse team environment. This position is eligible for up to 2 days of remote work per week, dependent on performance and responsibilities. Please submit a cover letter and CV / resume with application.
