Project Engineer Heavy Civil Construction

Overview

MasTec Civil is now hiring a Project Engineer in Jacksonville FL that will provide technical engineering information to project supervision and crafts to ensure construction work complies with all safety regulations engineering standards codes and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Ensurethatconstructioncrewscomply withallOSHAregulationsand companysafetypolicies
• ReviewProjectContractsPlansandSpecificationsintheirentirety
• PrepareProjectScheduleandmonthlyupdates
• Preparequantityreportingprojectcostscashflowprojectionsandforecasting
• Coordinate withsubcontractorssuppliersandworkforce toresolveprojectchallenges conflicts and / ortechnical issues
• PrepareandsubmitPrimeandSubcontractorChangeOrders
• Managedocument control toincludesubmittalschedulescontractdocuments project recorddrawingsetc.
• Prepare andmaintaintechnicalsubmittallist NPDES permits StormStormWater Pollution Prevention PlanandProject ProgressSchedule asrequired
• Complywithnoticerequirementssuchasinspectionssurveystaking jointmeasurementswithowner and / orengineerutility locationsand adjustmentstesting claimsetc.
• Issuecorrespondencetosubcontractorsandvendorswhenrevisedplanand / orspecificationsaffectsproductsorservices
• Assistwithprojectcloseout
• Additional assignments per the Project Managers direction
