Memory Care Activities Assistant Duties and Responsibilities :
- Develops monthly themed activity calendar for residents based on the Memory Care Program Daily Routine.
- Carries out monthly activity calendar with varied activities.
- Recruits, organizes, trains, and recognizes volunteers to expand and supplement the Memory Care program while including the largest number of residents possible.
- Involves resident families, the community, and volunteers in activities to help the resident transition and maintain a satisfying wellbeing and positive state of mind.
- Encourages residents to participate in meaningful activities.
- Maintains all activity areas in a neat and orderly manner.
- Participates in Family Support meetings when needed.
- Maintains community involvement.
Memory Care Activities Assistant Qualifications and Skills :
Must be willing to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends due to special events.High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)One to three months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Valid State issued driver’s license and must be 21 years of age.Memory Care Activities Benefits :
