Job Title IBM i AS400 Technical Lead Onsite

Location Evansville Indiana USA

Experience Minimum 9 years up to 13 years in IBM i AS400 technical delivery

Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Technical Lead with strong expertise handson experience in IBM i AS400 technologies The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background in COBOL DB2 RPG and CL programming along with excellent client interaction skills and a strong focus on quality delivery and governance

Key Responsibilities

iSeries Development Expertise in technologies such as ILE COBOL ILE CL database DB2

Knowledge of iSeries APIs Data queues User queues multithreading Journaling and IBM iSeries file systems such as Library based system etc

Experience with SQL and MQ Series is a plus

Functional Requirements and perform requirement analysis

Estimate and Monitor Estimates

Work with Business teams to prioritize work

Prepare detailed design documentation

Reporting and tracking of assignments

Fix high priority issues

Required Skills Experience

1Excellent communication stakeholder management and problemsolving skills

2Strong knowledge of IBM i AS400 COBOL CL RPG and DB2

3COBOL400 COBOL ILE

4SQL400 Query400 Strong working knowledge in DB2400

5ILE Concepts

6Display Files Sub Files Printer Files

7Embedded SQL

Additional Skills

Aldon MQ Series is a plus Worked on production support added advantage

US Visa independentResource should have valid US Visa to work

Preferred Qualifications

1Experience in financial serviceslending domain

2Knowledge of AgileScrum and traditional SDLC methodologies

3Exposure to modernization tools or microservices even at concept level
