POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible to assist the Product Manager in providing sales and technical assistance within a specific

product category, while working in conjunction with sales personnel to develop profitable equipment

businesses.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Assist the sales force with creating, reviewing, modifying sales documents, presentations, proposals

and recommendations for new, exiting or potential customers.

  • Analyze the customer’s operation and requirements to develop solutions to meet their needs
  • Work with the sales force and customers to ensure business plans, sales commitments, system
  • customer specifications are all carried out to ensure maximum sales potential and maximum customer

    satisfaction.

  • Provide technical support to the service group
  • Provide creative support / input for advertising efforts including press releases, IWF / AWFS, trade
  • magazines, etc. to maximize visibility and showcase the expertise of being the leader in the industry.

  • Act as liaison between Parts / Service, Sales and customers to ensure orders of equipment, parts
  • and / or service requirements are fulfilled as expected by both the company and the customer.

  • Provide ongoing training for employees and customers as it relates to new equipment or equipment
  • modifications, enhancements or improvements.

  • Monitor competitive climate within the industry to stay abreast of changes in equipment, pricing,
  • promotions, peripheral equipment offerings, etc. to stay ahead of the industry.

  • Work closely with customers to recommend and demonstrate the appropriate software solutions to
  • their business requirements.

    QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent industry experience
  • Three to five years relative experience in panel processing industry and technical support role.
