Rincon Research is seeking an Inventory Specialist to join our team of engineers and technicians developing and producing electronic and RF products. This individual will maintain responsibilities for accurate and timely inventory transactions in a stockroom, kitting of materials for release to Operations, and ensuring robust incoming and outgoing material flow from the stockroom. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated history of initiative, strong work ethic, function well under pressure, and maintain a success-oriented attitude while working with diverse teams.

What are the primary responsibilities in the Inventory Specialist position?
- Kitting of components and materials for release to the production floor for assembly and / or to third party vendors
- Tracking of material shortages to release kits, and partner with the Procurement team to escalate and expedite material shortages
- Receiving of incoming materials, and ensuring accurate inventory transactions to update On Hand inventory positions
- Supports identification and disposition of excess and obsolete inventory, non-conforming materials, or similar non-standard inventory
- Maintain a clean, organized, visually controlled stockroom area
- Other duties as required

Must be action-oriented and demonstrate a high level of ownership of the stockroomAbility to independently manage daily tasks and project work, while maintaining a customer-focused , positive attitudeDemonstrate problem-solving skills to identify root-causes of quality errors, and the ability to establish and / or improve work processes in order to eliminate errorsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detailExperience performing inventory cycle counts or similar inventory accuracy processesMinimum 2 years of experience working with material transactions within an MRP / ERP systemHS Diploma or AA / AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training)US CITIZENSHIP REQUIREDDesired Qualifications :
Experience establishing, relocating, and / or managing a stockroom area2 years of experience working within Costpoint MRPFamiliarity with electronic components (ex : resistors, capacitors, transistors, microchips / integrated circuits, etc)Experience working in an electrostatic discharge (ESD) controlled environmentPhysical Requirements
Work is typically performed with the employee standing, walking, bending, crouching or stoopingMust be able to frequently lift light objectsWhere is the position located?
