KPMG is seeking a Senior Associate to join our State and Local Tax (SALT) practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist multi-state companies with state and local tax issues including compliance, advising, planning, controversies, and technical research
• Review information presented on state income tax returns and schedule K-1 before, during, and after preparation
• Research and draft technical memoranda regarding income and franchise tax questions
• Support multi-state companies with state and local tax controversies, including preparing clients for discussions with auditors and protests
• Learn and utilize state-of-the-art technology and innovative solutions in state tax compliance delivery
• Supervise, mentor, and develop staff
