Commercial Lines Account Manager

Position : Commercial Lines Account Manager

Location : Schaumburg, IL (Hybrid - once a week onsite)

Hours : 9 : 00am - 5 : 30pm

Classification : Exempt, Full-Time, Direct Hire

A growing commercial insurance broker is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join its Property & Casualty (P&C) department.

As an Account Manager, you'll oversee a diverse portfolio of approximately 20 business accounts spanning a wide range of industries. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional client service, ensuring satisfaction, and driving account retention.

This role offers significant room for growth and the opportunity to step up into expanded responsibilities as you progress.

Responsibilities :

Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, handling renewals, endorsements, and claims.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and internal team members.

Deliver exceptional service by collaborating with CSRs, responding promptly to client inquiries.

Analyze client risk exposures and recommend appropriate coverage solutions.

Prepare and present insurance proposals to clients by collaborating with Sales and Customer Service Specialists.

Deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment with professionalism and attention to detail.

Assist with prospective client meetings and presentations. (Commission eligible)

Stay up to date on industry trends, regulatory changes, and new products to provide current, relevant advice to clients.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial insurance, with a focus on Property & Casualty (P&C).

Active P&C license required.

Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and services.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Proficiency in MS Office and insurance management systems.
