Commercial Insurance Marketing Manager
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager to oversee agency marketing and carrier goals across the Pacific Northwest territory, including OR, WA, ID, and UT. This hands-on role involves managing daily business relationships between the insurance company and independent agents, building and maintaining strong agency partnerships, and supporting mutual growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and nurture strong agency relationships, acting as the primary liaison between agents, brokers, underwriters, and internal teams.
- Supervise 1-4 marketing staff, including representatives, coordinators, and assistants.
- Develop and implement marketing plans and targeted campaigns in collaboration with marketing staff and internal teams.
- Schedule and conduct appointments with existing and prospective agents within the assigned territory; generate detailed call reports summarizing all visits.
- Travel within the territory to maintain agent engagement and support.
- Gather and analyze competitive intelligence and market trends to inform territory strategies.
- Communicate company positions related to products, forms, and underwriting appetite.
- Assist in the development and redevelopment of products and programs.
- Manage agency acquisitions and process all related documentation promptly and accurately.
- Attend trade shows, social events, and periodic agent recognition events to promote the company and strengthen relationships.
- Maintain and update sales reports monthly, quarterly, and annually.
- Continuously enhance industry knowledge through courses and regular meetings with underwriting staff.
- Distribute approved marketing materials and ensure consistent messaging.
- Utilize strong technical skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and proprietary company systems.

Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years’ commercial insurance experience, preferably with leadership and supervisory responsibilities.Verifiable commercial Property & Casualty (P&C) industry knowledge.Proven ability to leverage local presence and personal knowledge of agents and brokers to drive mutual growth and profit.Detail-oriented with strong coaching, motivational, and communication skills.Self-starter with a strong work ethic and accuracy in all verbal and written communications.Compensation and Benefits
