We are seeking a talented and team-oriented individual for a
- Project Manager / Landscape Architect
- position within our Landscape Architecture studio. The successful candidate will be assisting our team in the preparation and oversight of site analysis and field inventory documents, public park and facilities master planning, site conceptual design, planting design, and construction drawings.
- Essential duties and responsibilities
- Business development : Actively participate in business development by preparing proposals, building new relationships, and representing the firm at client meetings and industry events.
- Client relations : Foster and maintain collaborative relationships with clients, regulatory agencies, and public stakeholders.
- Team oversight : Manage direct reports, including training, and mentoring, and ensuring proper allocation of resources for all projects.
- Budget and resource management : Create, manage, and monitor project budgets, resource allocation, and project timelines to ensure efficiency and profitability.
- Project oversight : Lead and manage the planning, design, and execution of multiple, complex projects, including public park facilities, trails and trailheads, recreation centers, educational campuses, urban infill and redevelopment, and master planned communities.
- Project lifecycle management : Direct and manage the entire project lifecycle, ensuring successful execution from initial concept to completion.
- Quality and compliance : Ensure that designs and projects adhere to high-quality standards, safety policies, and all applicable codes and regulations.
- Quality assurance : Implement and monitor quality control standards to ensure all project deliverables and designs meet high-quality standards.
- Regulatory compliance : Ensure all projects adhere to local, state, and federal regulations regarding land use, zoning, and environmental impact.
- Qualifications of the Candidate
The ideal candidate would be required to have the following qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Landscape Architecture program.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2024 or later
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast paced multi-discipline team environment
- Strong speaking and written communication skills
- Registered Landscape Architect
- Proven ability to lead, mentor and manage multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong experience managing project lifecycles, budgets, and schedules.
Additionally, the followings skills would be preferred, but not required :
- 10+ years professional design firm experience, including project coordination
- Professional experience working with LandFX, Civil 3D, Revit, Lumion
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator
- Proficiency in Sketchup 2024 or later
