About Us :
Temecula Valley Day Surgery is a multi-specialty Ambulatory Surgery Center, licensed by the State of California, certified by Medicare, and accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care. Our center is designed for patients having elective, one-day surgery with no hospital stay. The purpose is to provide a patient-focused approach to outpatients requiring operative, Endoscopy, or Pain service, and to achieve desired quality patient outcomes in a cost-effective manner.
Job Summary :
We are seeking a Full-Time who will assume shift responsibility and accountability for the OR, Pre-Op, and PACU. Duties include but not limited to :
- Plan and provision of direct and indirect nursing care to the patient, family, care partner and appropriate others.
- Coordinates multi-disciplinary team members, directs and facilitates nursing staff in obtaining safe, optimal health care outcomes.
- Supports activities that meet the facility vision, mission and goals.
- Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
- The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care.
- Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
Qualifications
EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE
Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required. BSN preferred.Minimum three (3) years RN experience in an ASC required.One (1) to three (3) years supervisory experience preferred.Knowledge of AAAHC, QAPI, ARON, and ASPAN standards.CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSURE
Current Registered License with the State of California.BLS, ACLS, PALS required.OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES :
Demonstrates knowledge and ensures compliance with The Joint Commission and Title standards and guidelines.Demonstrates compliance with Healthcare policies and procedures at all times.Ability to set priorities and appropriately organize workload and complete assignments in a timely manner.Familiarity with basic medical laws and ethics, i.e. consents, confidentiality.Knowledge of emergency procedures, medical terminology and medical abbreviations.Demonstrates ability to relate to clinical personnel and medical staff, as well as ability to interact well with the public.Must have knowledge of PC and applications.Effective written and verbal communication skills in the English language.Effective interpersonal skills.Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area (BSP), circumference and volume.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.Benefit Highlights :
