Located in Waltham, MA

Our client, a family-owned manufacturing company, is looking for a CNC Machinist to join their team in Waltham !

This role focuses on low-volume, high-precision machining, requiring strong skills in programming, setup, and operation of both CNC and manual machines

Schedule : Monday-Friday, 7 : 00am-3 : 30pm

Pay : $30.00-$35.00 per hour (Depending on experience)

Responsibilities :

Program and operate CNC machines based on component blueprints
Set up tooling and make edit changes to maintain production quality
Operate manual lathes, Bridgeport machines, and drill presses
Work closely with engineering and production teams to meet quality standards
Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues
Ensure a clean and organized machine shop environment

Qualifications, Skills and Experience :

4+ years of experience in CNC machining and manual machining

Ability to read blueprints and use CNC programming languages

Proficient with measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, comparators)

High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred

Strong communication skills and ability to work independently

Machinist Certificate preferred

Comfortable handling raw metal stock and conducting precision measurements
