Community Life Assistant (Activities Aide)

Full Time Days & Some Evenings + Every Other Weekend

$15.80-17.55 / hour

UMC is currently seeking a Community Life Assistant / Activities Aide for our Pitman Manor Community.

Pitman Manor , a UMC Community in Gloucester County, our senior community in Pitman New Jersey, is truly integrated into the life of the town. We are part of a beautiful residential neighborhood, near to highways and public transportation with easy access to both Philadelphia as well as the Jersey Shore.

Requirements for a Community Life Assistant :

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 or more year of relevant work experience

Responsibilities for a Community Life Assistant :

  • Participates in the scheduling of activities and programs within the community, communicates those with residents, encourages participation and participates in assigned programming.
  • Conducts assigned programs including 1 to 1 visit.
  • Assists with field trips and outings.
  • Transports residents to and from planned activities within or external to community.
  • Maintains resident's attendance. Assists with documentation- daily attendance records and 1 to 1 record.
  • Meets with outside local community groups to plan joint projects which benefit community residents as instructed.
  • Assures supplies are available for various activities / programs.
  • Gives input to residents care planning- assessments, care plan goals and approaches and progress notes.
