How Will You Make an Impact?
The Peptone Equipment Operator will perform manufacturing operations associated with the production of animal-based peptones.
A Day in the Life :
- Prepare raw material for use in digest kettles.
- Setup and operate digest kettles, steam kettles, and filter presses. Setup and load product in dryers.
- Collaborate with other team members and supervisors to ensure smooth production flow and timely completion of processes.
- Record production data, such as quantities produced and quality control measurements. Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Perform autonomous maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure efficient performance.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Inspect finished products for defects or deviations from specifications. Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and suggest ideas. Perform other duties as assigned by a Supervisor.

Education :
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience :
No previous work experience requiredPrevious work experience in manufacturing, operations, production or lab setting or related field is helpfulExperience in a cGMP environment is helpfulPhysical Requirements / Work Environment :
