Job Summary
This position is essential for managing the entire lifecycle of grant and funding requests submitted by the hospital, including solicitation, review, submission, award notification, implementation, coordination, and monitoring.

Minimum Qualifications
Education : Bachelor's degree in business, scientific, or healthcare discipline, or equivalent experience.

Experience / Knowledge / Skills :
- Minimum of three years of experience in grant and contract management, with involvement in complex, multifaceted projects and networking with industry and federal agencies.
- Display excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiating abilities.
- Proficient in computer literacy and other relevant skills.
Principal Accountabilities
Conduct thorough analysis and provide recommendations for grant opportunities in research and other hospital areas by performing detailed searches through federal and industry-sponsored research publications and websites, with a strong understanding of the technical aspects of research parameters.Process requests for proposals while ensuring that proper documentation, approvals, and regulatory compliance are met.Oversee the notification process for grant awards and facilitate their implementation within the hospital.Continuously monitor funding and reporting for all grant agreements.Respond promptly and courteously to both internal inquiries and external calls / solicitations.Maintain positive relationships with various system departments to achieve organizational goals.Ensure safe practices for patients, staff, and visitors while adhering to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary guidelines, including time management and quality of service.Promote personal professional growth by meeting requirements for mandatory and continuing education, supporting department-based goals to contribute to the organization’s success; serve as a mentor and resource to less experienced staff.Demonstrate commitment to serving every member of our community by providing compassionate and personalized experiences.
