General Coatings Corporation, one of Southern Californias largest and most respected commercial coating companies, is on the hunt for a bold and driven Estimator / Project Manager with 35 years of waterproofing estimating experience. Based in Carlsbad, CA, were seeking a professional whos not only technically skilled but thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment where no two days are the same.

Your Mission :

• Command the entire estimating cycle for high-impact waterproofing and painting projects
• Decode complex blueprints and specs to deliver laser-precise estimates
• Collaborate across teams, from field pros to upper management, to craft standout bids
• Lock in the best deals with subcontractors and suppliers, your negotiation game is top-tier
• Keep project finances in check from kickoff to final coat
• Recommend smart, value-adding solutions that give us an edge

Qualifications :

3 to 5 years of proven experience in waterproofing estimating within the construction industry

Strong project management and cost control background

Skilled in interpreting construction documents and scope of work

Excellent negotiation and communication abilities

Knowledge of contract terms and industry best practices

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
