Chamberlain College of Nursing seeks Part-Time Nursing Faculty interested in teaching with our BSN Nursing program.
You will be teaching students in the role of facilitator, role model, coach and advisor. Incorporating Chamberlain Care philosophy to educate and embolden diverse nursing professionals in a culture where students and colleagues thrive and cultivate extraordinary nursing graduates.
Part-time professors lead asynchronous discussions and teach 2 synchronous live lectures each week on Wednesdays; one between 7am-12pm Central Time plus one between 5pm-9 : 30pm Central Time. Professors will be available via email, online conferencing or telephone, to provide support and respond to student's enquiries in a timely manner.

NR222 Health and Wellness :
This course introduces students to health promotion and preventive care activities throughout the life span. These activities are explored through biological, psychological, spiritual, environmental, and sexual domains. A variety of theories emphasizing health and well-being will be explored throughout the course. Healthy People objectives are examined. Health-promotion assumptions basic to nursing practice are emphasized.
Chamberlain University courses follow an 8-week session plan : there are six 8-week sessions each calendar year (Jan-Feb, Mar-Apr, May-Jun, Jul-Aug, Sep-Oct, & Nov-Dec).

Responsibilities : Course Preparation :
Provide students with a Chamberlain University approved syllabus that follows the established template and includes terminal course objectives.
Technological Integration :
Use appropriate technological options for online technologies and course-related software, including websites, e-mail, and online discussions for preparing the course and making it accessible to students.
Communication :
Model effective oral and written communications that engage students, provide clarity, and improve student learning.
Course Management :
Set clear expectations for the course by publishing course terminal objectives, assignment / examinations dates, and weight distribution of various evaluation categories.

Additional Information
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected compensation rate for this position is between $715 / Earned Credit Hour to $1,950 / Earned Credit Hour, depending on the candidate’s education and experience.
Actual pay may be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as type of course taught; experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
