Research Intern -Computational Genomics

We are seeking a Research Intern to support ongoing projects involving large-scale DNA and RNA sequencing, single-cell and spatial transcriptomics, and other molecular profiling data. Under close mentorship from the PI and lab members, the intern will assist with data processing, exploratory analysis, and pipeline development using Python / R and standard bioinformatics tools on Linux / HPC environments. This position is designed as a hands-on training opportunity in modern computational genomics within a highly collaborative cancer research team.

Wenyi Wang Lab in the Department of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology at MD Anderson Cancer Center develops and applies advanced computational and statistical methods to analyze high-dimensional genomic and multi-omics data, with a focus on cancer genomics and tumor evolution.
