Structural Engineer – Energy Practice (Remote)

The Opportunity :

Tetra Tech's National Energy Practice is continuing to expand, and we are adding a Structural Engineer to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to support a wide range of projects from concept through completion in a collaborative consulting environment.

The Structural Engineer will assist with the design and analysis of structural components and systems for renewable energy and land development projects, working closely with senior professionals to gain hands-on technical and industry experience. Your Role :

• Assist in the design and analysis of structural components and systems for energy and land development projects.
• Prepare detailed engineering deliverables including drawings, specifications, and calculations.
• Review and interpret topographic surveys and geotechnical investigation reports.
• Conduct field site inspections of existing and new construction to verify compliance with design specifications.
• Estimate project materials, equipment, and labor costs to support feasibility analyses.
• Contribute to construction administration tasks such as submittal reviews, RFIs, and field change requests.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary project teams to ensure integration of civil, structural, and environmental aspects.
• Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.
• Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness.
• Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns.
• Additional duties as required.

Compensation :

Pay commensurate with experience.

Pay Range : $70,000 – $110,000 annually

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience and demonstrated work experience in the above role; skills, certifications, and competencies that align to the specified role; geographic location; and education, as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
