Reliability Engineer

We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Reliability Engineer to support and enhance asset performance and maintenance strategies within a dynamic Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) environment. This mid-level role contributes strategically to reliability and continuous improvement efforts by applying data analytics, Lean and Six Sigma principles, and key elements of reliability engineering such as failure analysis, asset criticality assessment, and maintenance optimization.
The Reliability Engineer collaborates with operations and maintenance teams to assess asset health, analyze performance data, and recommend actionable improvements. While not responsible for enterprise-level program leadership, the role may independently lead internal account-level projects that target improved equipment reliability, reduced downtime, and enhanced facility operations. This position is ideal for an engineer looking to apply both strategic thinking and hands-on problem solving in a collaborative, performance-driven setting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Monitor and report key reliability KPIs by analyzing asset performance dataincluding failure history, downtime, and work orders. Leverage CMMS and data analytics tools to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for reliability improvement
- Collaborate with site operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to implement reliability improvements and ensure alignment with client goals
- Lead reliability initiatives to improve equipment uptime, reduce reactive maintenance, and enhance operational performance. Support audits and compliance efforts by ensuring procedures, documentation, and data meet internal and client standards
- Support maintenance strategy reviews and optimization efforts to align with industry best practices. Assist in root cause investigations and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurring failures. Conduct failure mode analyses and contributes to asset criticality assessments to guide maintenance priorities
- Support capital planning with data-driven insights on asset condition, lifecycle risk, and performance trends, applying maintenance expertise to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize investment decisions
- Performs any other duties as deemed necessary by the Operations and CI&R leadership
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree (BS) in Engineering (preferably Reliability, Industrial, or a related discipline) from an accredited college or university; or 5 to 7 years of relevant engineering experience and / or specialized training in reliability or industrial engineering; or an equivalent combination of education and practical engineering experienceA minimum of 5 years of experience in applying the concepts of Continuous Improvement (Lean / SixSigma) in a manufacturing facility and or commercial office maintenance environmentCMMS platform experience required, Corrigo preferredMaintenance program experience is preferredMust possess a valid driver's license.
