Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of recent experience, BLS, ARRT(CT), and NM state licensure for a 12-hour day shift contract assignment.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a hospital CT department performing computerized tomographic radiographs
  • 12-hour day shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM, 3 days per week
  • Floating between departments and locations within 20 miles is required
  • Use of Epic EMR is preferred
  • Dosimeter badge must be worn; agency is responsible for providing and managing dose badges
  • Must be knowledgeable of hospital policies and procedures
  • Responsible for reviewing exams for clinical appropriateness and prioritizing cases
  • Effective communication of critical situations is necessary
  • No local candidates will be considered; must live at least 50 miles from the facility
  • Returning staff must wait at least one year before being eligible for traveler positions
  • All required certifications must be valid at the time of consideration
  • First day orientation includes compliance and workplace safety requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of recent CT Tech experience required
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Current BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI required
  • ARRT certification and ARRT(CT) required
  • NM state license required
  • License required if applicable
