Civil Design Engineer

PND Engineers is seeking a skilled and self-motivated Civil Design Engineer with at least 4 years of experience to join our Anchorage, Alaska, team working remotely from PND's Seattle office location. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy solving complex design challenges, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

You'll work on a wide variety of rewarding projects-from general site development to highway, airport, solid waste landfill, waterfront development, and utility design-supporting both urban and remote Alaska communities. Our Anchorage team is known for tackling tough projects and delivering smart, cost-effective solutions-and we're looking for a colleague who thrives in that kind of setting.

What You'll Do :

• Design and develop civil engineering plans and construction documents for public and private infrastructure.
• Support construction administration and inspection efforts.
• Collaborate with internal teams across multiple disciplines.
• Contribute to project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Occasionally travel within Alaska and the U.S. for site visits and progress inspections.

What We're Looking For :

Experience in construction, transportation, or water / wastewater utility design is a plus.
