Systems Administrator
Position is for a Systems Administrator to support NSWC Philadelphia and Surface Ship modernization programs. The candidate shall support daily operational requirements of computer network systems including workstation, file servers, and web servers. Duties will involve the installation of hardware, software, systems upgrades, network accounts, network security, interface and updates, and local system design documentation. This administrator will maintain, troubleshoot, and implement network security tools including firewalls, anti-virus, and intrusion detection services. The position will require working with customers with information technology, monitoring system configuration (hardware and software), and providing instruction on computers and applications. As required by the government, the candidate will maintain Cybersecurity Work Force qualification.
Manage and maintain servers
Experience supporting Windows 10 / 11 Windows Server 2016 / 2019 / 2022
Experience supporting Red Hat Linux 7 / 8 / 9
Experience supporting cloud services AWS / Azure
Active directory management, NTFS security and disk space management
Provide support to developers via telephone and on-line support using MS Teams and other remote software

Install, configure and troubleshoot server and client software
Backup management, reporting and recovery
Maintenance of MS Windows Server Operating and Linux Environments

Required Skills and / or Experience :
DoD 8570.1-m IAT II certification - Security+ CE, CySA+, SSCP, GICSP, GSEC, CCNA Security
Top Secret Security Clearance
US citizen
Minimum Experience : 7 years professional experience in systems administration.
Degree Requirements : Master's level degree in Electrical / Electronic / Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
