Reports to : Community Nutrition Program Manager

Work Location : Lansing, MI

Work Schedule : Monday - Friday, 10 : 00am to 2 : 00pm, 20 hours per week.

Compensation : 15.95 / hr. plus comprehensive benefits package including 100% employer paid pension, generous time off and 14 paid holidays.

General Responsibilities : Coordinates with the Central Kitchen to provide services to participants of the Congregate Dining program. Works closely with the Community Nutrition Program Manager to provide operational support to the Congregate Dining Program.

• Serves as primary congregate Dining Site Coordinator at Sam Corey Dining site.
• Provides coverage at various Dining Sites as assigned by the Community Nutrition Program Manager that will include maintaining appropriate food standards, preparing the site for delivery of food, setting up food stations, greet participants, and provide a welcoming environment.
• Provides support to the Community Nutrition Program Manager to ensure proper execution of dining site tasks as well as ensures coverage for all Congregate Dining sites daily.
• Prepares and distributes various business correspondence including letters, memos, reports, and program documents.
• Organizes, processes and completes data entry for all month end documents.
• Helps maintain participant and volunteer databases.
• Serves as a go-to person when volunteers have questions or concerns.
• Provide support for registering participants for the Senior Project Fresh Program. Coordinate volunteer involvement in the registration process.
