As Head of Systems Modeling, you’ll be a senior technical leader on our high-performance engineering team. You’ll oversee dynamic modeling of the complete F1® gearbox system, hydraulic assemblies, clutch, brake-by-wire, and other chassis systems.

  • Define requirements for complex design projects and ensure successful delivery
  • Serve as the key technical link between design, vehicle performance, and power unit operations
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers, sharing your expertise in dynamic modeling platforms (e.g., Dymola, Simulink)
  • Partner with the vehicle performance team to create and refine drivetrain models
  • Drive continuous improvement and champion innovative analysis techniques

What do you need to bring to the team?

This is an opportunity for someone who combines vision, leadership and elevated technical knowledge. You must have :

  • Significant experience in high-performance gearbox or drivetrain system development in Formula 1®, WEC, IndyCar, or equivalent motorsport environments
  • Proven track record leading complex modeling projects from concept through trackside validation
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Deep working knowledge of FIA technical regulations relating to transmission systems
  • Strong background in power unit control and torque arbitration (preferred)
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence, collaborate, and deliver results in fast-paced environments
