POSITION SUMMARY

Nichols School is seeking an experienced Physical Education teacher for 5

th

through 12

th

grades. This role includes coaching Nichols School athletic teams during all seasons.

DUTIES :

Leading and teaching physical education to all 5th and 6th graders

Coaching team sports (one per season) to our 7th and 8th grade students

Teaching upper school physical education classes

Coaching duties at the varsity / junior varsity level

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS :

A strong foundation and academic training in physical education

Experience in coaching and / or competing at a high level of sport

Strong communication with students parents and staff

Understanding of learning styles and differentiated instruction
