Job Description

MINIMUM 2 YEARS OF RECENT WORK EXPERIENCE AS AN INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIAN OR ELECTRICAL ASSEMBLER.

Connect Staffing is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician / Electrical Assembly for a manufacturer of large industrial laundry machines in Hutchins, TX.

Schedule : Full Time (6 : 30 am – 3 : 00 pm Monday through Friday)

Requirements for Industrial Electrician :

2 years or more of experience as an industrial electrician or electrical assembler
Pass a drug screen and background check
Ability to read schematics and diagrams
Experience with 480v AC Motor Control Circuits
Knowledge of 3-phase motors
Experience with installing PLC systems (Programmable Logic Controllers)
Experience with variable frequency drive motor systems
Prior experience in roles such as Electrical Assembler, Panel Builder, Control Panel Technician, Electrical Technician, Machine Wiring Technician, Electrical Assembly Technician, Electromechanical Assembler, Automation Electrician, or Electrical Integration Technician is a big plus!

Responsibilities of the Industrial Electrician :

Run conduit and wire electrical panels by color & number

Install PLC systems (Programmable Logic Controllers)

Read schematics and diagrams for various control systems

Use hand tools for drilling, tapping, and assembly of the panels

Test panels for any errors with electrical components

Install and hook up switches, push buttons, transformers, wire terminations, and breakers
