The Arizona Humane Society is seeking a dedicated, full-time Capacity and Flow Specialist to join our team at the Papago Park Campus. This role follows a regular schedule of Saturday - Tuesday, 7 : 00 AM–5 : 30 PM, with the flexibility to work 8 : 30 AM–7 : 00 PM when coverage is needed. A Day in the Life :

Capacity and Flow are an integral part of shelter operations and are responsible for the overall shelter flow of animals. The role of the Capacity and Flow team is to support staff and move animals quickly and efficiently though the system. A key focus for this role is to assist in ensuring animals are receiving quality care in a timely manner, properly housed by kenneling animals throughout the day, and each animal has next steps in place.

Physical Demands / Work Environment :

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. Must be able to hear above the sound of the animals.

There will be exposure to dust, heat, cold and temperature changes; occasional wet floors, and animal noises, odors and dander. Most time will be spent in a typical air conditioned and heated office environment.
