Oversee instrument and equipment setup for the operating room, anticipating surgeon needs using preference cards. Coordinate and manage the operating room during surgical procedures as the circulator. Facilitate transitions between surgical cases efficiently. Utilize proper body mechanics when moving patients to stretchers and OR tables. Manage patient care and medications, assisting with anesthesia as needed. Review charts for completeness, adhering to documentation protocols before and after procedures. Graduate from an accredited nursing program. A minimum of 1 year experience in an operating room environment, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center. Active RN license as per state requirements or compact licensure. Valid BCLS Certification; online certifications are not acceptable. ACLS certification as required by the facility. CNOR certification is preferred.
