Axiom Equipment Group is a leading provider of premium equipment solutions, committed to delivering exceptional service and innovative products to our clients. Were looking for a hands-on, customer-focused Tech Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, youll take the lead on service activities, making sure our customers across Canada and the USA receive top-notch repairs and support. Youll be the go-to person for troubleshooting, solving problems, and seeing every service issue through to resolution.
- Key Responsibilities :
- Process warranty claims from clients, file claims to suppliers
- Take all business and after-hours service calls that need to be repaired immediately in the shop or in the field. Troubleshoots over the phone / web meetings to greatest extent possible
- Travels to address major repair issues / key client training as needed
- Verify field tickets are filled out correctly with accurate information
- Writes all service orders for customer equipment in house or in-field to be repaired and sees that accurate information is tracked
- Main point of contact and liaise with suppliers and Axiom R&D department on troubleshooting equipment repairs
- Customer case management - review ticketing system to confirm all service tickets are reviewed for accuracy, updated with correct information and closed as soon as possible
- Support sales efforts by joining Teams meetings with Account Managers
- Qualifications :
- High knowledge and skill in troubleshooting & repair of construction equipment (preferably generator and light tower knowledge would be an asset).
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Experienced in diagnosing and repairing electronic issues.
- Experience providing customer service and support
- Excellent communication (phone & emails) skills, including de-escalataion
- Strong computer and digital skills
- Strong sense of responsibility and ownership
