What this job involves : The Engineering Technical Advisor will serve as the primary technical expert for engineering operations providing specialized technical support regulatory guidance and training leadership across all facility engineering disciplines. This role combines direct supervision of Field Support Specialist staff with a focus on technical excellence knowledge management and capability development to support field operations teams and ensure operational continuity across the portfolio.

Your day-to-day tasks will include :

• Serve as subject matter expert for HVAC electrical plumbing fire safety and building automation systems
• Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and problem-solving support to field teams as technical escalation point
• Lead regular technical meetings with Regional Operations Managers Operations Managers and Technicians
• Develop and maintain technical standards procedures and best practices documentation
• Design and deliver comprehensive technical training programs for engineering staff
• Conduct compliance assessments and interface with regulatory authorities and municipal officials
• Oversee fleet vehicle inventory compliance tracking and specialized equipment procurement
• Provide direct supervision and performance management for Field Support Specialist positions
• Coordinate emergency technical support for building system failures and critical incidents

Travel Required : This position requires up to 20% travel throughout account portfolio.

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications location market conditions and internal considerations.
