job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding appropriately to emergencies as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare location. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues. Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious activity. Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and patients while upholding the standards of Allied Universal. Document incidents, observations, and / or any unusual activities as required by site protocols. Assist with access control and visitor management processes as needed within the healthcare environment. Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client. Must be at least 21 years of age. A guard card or security license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
