- Position Overview
We are seeking a talented Structural Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience with both residential and commercial projects and the ability to produce high-quality, code-compliant designs. A PE license is highly preferred.
- Key Responsibilities
- Design and analyze structural systems for residential and commercial buildings, including foundations, framing, and load-bearing elements.
- Prepare calculations, drawings, and specifications in compliance with applicable building codes and regulations.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and internal engineering disciplines to deliver cohesive project solutions.
- Conduct site visits to evaluate existing structures, support construction progress, and verify adherence to design documents.
- Assist with permitting, respond to plan review comments, and provide technical support as needed.
- Develop structural models and perform analysis using approved design software.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for clients and project stakeholders.
- Qualifications
- Education :
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- Experience :
- 3–5 years of relevant structural engineering experience in residential and / or commercial projects.
- Technical Skills :
- Proficiency in structural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, or similar platforms.
- Licensure :
- PE license strongly preferred. EIT required if PE is not obtained.
- Strong understanding of local and national building codes (IBC, ASCE, etc.).
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
