Position Summary :
The Coordinator of Administrative Information Technology performs and supervises the operation and maintenance of a complex administrative computer-based system at a Community College where the work of administrators, faculty and staff is supported by computerized services. The administrative computing system includes assistance for such functions as student records, admission, financial aid, counseling and business office operation.
The College's information technology services are assisted by the centralized System Data Center which uses the Banner administrative system, requiring the Coordinator of Administrative Information Technology to utilize and adapt that system to the College's administrative computing services. The position may serve as the designated Banner system technical coordinator.

Under the direction of the Director of Information Technologyor other administrator, the Coordinator of Administrative Information Technology is accountable for assuring the effective functioning of administrative computing services in support of the College's various administrative offices including Registrar, Admissions, Business and Finance, Counseling, Human Resources, Financial Aid and Student Services through effective performance in these essential areas :
In addition to the accountabilities listed above, the incumbent is required to carry out the essential duties of : Attendance and participation at convocation and commencement ceremonies; Service on assigned committees and task forces; Attendance and participation at committee, staff, informational and professional meetings. These may involve attendance at evening or weekend events.

Minimum Qualifications :
Associate's degree in computer science or related technological discipline together with two (2) or more years of experience in computer system and software design, development and implementation; or a combination of education, training, and experience which would lead to the competencies required for successful performance of the position's essential duties.

Candidates must possess proven ability to effectively work with culturally, linguistically, and ethnically diverse faculty, staff, and students. They are expected to have excellent interpersonal oral and written communication skills along with strong Information technology literacy skills such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams etc.).

Minimum Salary Range; $68,623-$73,234 approximate annual plus excellent State of CT medical insurance, retirement, and related fringe benefits. The salary will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications such as education and job-related experience, and internal equity.
