Ascend Staffing is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our team!

You will conduct tests to determine the quality of materials and finished products as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency. Our client is a national manufacturer, supplier, and installer of canopies and related components that services all sectors of the Retail Petroleum Industry, from independent oil marketers to major oil companies and large convenience store chains.

This is a temp to hire opportunity!

Location : Arlington, TX 76010

Shift : 1st Shift

6am – 2 : 30pm with ability to work overtime for production needs

Pay Range : $18.00-$20.00 depending on experience

Responsibilities :

Perform thorough examinations of all materials and finished products, visual welding inspection

Go over blueprints to ensure all the measurements are correct

Implement and improve quality control operating procedures

Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems and defects

Participate in routine visual inspections

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications :

Previous work experience in quality control or other related fields

Prior Quality Control experience required

Blueprints and tape measure are a must

Strong attention to detail

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
