Job Description

We are seeking Electrical Engineers to lead electrical design projects for power distribution equipment and support our rapidly growing business. This role focuses on complex electrical systems design while ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for switchgear, switchboards, and power distribution equipment.
• Create one-line diagrams, control schematics, and electrical drawings.
• Perform electrical calculations including load studies and basic protection coordination.
• Support the development of electrical specifications and bills of material.
• Ensure designs comply with NEC, UL, and other relevant standards.
• Create technical documentation using AutoCAD Electrical and other design tools.
• Support manufacturing with electrical drawings and technical assistance.
• Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with customer technical support and application questions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project execution.
• Learn and apply company design standards and procedures.
• Participate in training programs and professional development activities.
• Work under guidance of Sr engineers to develop expertise.
• Support field service and testing activities as needed.
• Contribute to process improvements and standardization efforts.

Work Environment

The facility is large and currently under construction for the next 5-6 weeks. The working hours are from 8 am to 5 pm. The company offers good benefits and unlimited PTO.

This is a Permanent position based out of Hanover, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $105000.00 - $105000.00 / yr.

Maximum consecutive days an employee shall be out on PTO / holidays shall not exceed 10 or two calendar weeks (includes weekends).
