What you’ll do as a Supervisory Inventory Management
Review and approve material purchase ordersWork with vendors to resolve invoice and order discrepanciesAssist with monthly inventory and reportingParticipate in the hiring and training of field warehouse techniciansAssist with the initial warehouse setup when new locations openBuild relationships with the operations teams and assist with their material needsEnsure compliance with established proceduresPlans, develops, and implements warehouse safety and security programs and activitiesManages the activities of inventory personnel and yard workers on an ongoing basisIdentifies, defines and monitors performance-related KPI metrics and holds department personnel accountable to achieving departmental standardsOther duties as assignedWhat you’ll need
To be 18 years of age or olderAuthorization to work in the United States for this company3-5 years progressive warehouse experienceStrong communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerpointSelf motivated, ability to multitask and prioritize work loadAbility to meet established deadlinesBusiness Management or Degree preferred. Previous management experience. Minimum 5 years or a combination of bothValid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving recordMust be able to pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical cardAbility to apply project management concepts, and methodologiesProven leadership in a cross functional team environmentGeneral understanding of Business Financial and / or Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Ability to safely operate forklift, telehandler and skid steer equipmentAbility to work independently on assigned tasks with minimum guidanceWhy work with us
