Description

The mission of the Youth Specialist is "Helping Children and Families to be Victors."

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and guide clients in a variety of daily activities, while arranging and controlling the physical surroundings in order to provide a healthy and safe environment
• Recognize and manage individual treatment plans for clients with dignity and respect
• Read all documented charts and / or logbooks at start of the shift and maintain documentation throughout the shift
• Complete and submit all logs, reports, documentation, and assigned projects by end of shift
• Participate / attend and complete all required contractual, licensing, and agency training successfully
• Function as a mandated reporter, as required by Michigan Child Protection Law
• Attend all required meetings
• Other duties, as assigned

USUAL TIME INVOLVEMENT

Full or Part Time : This is a non-exempt position.

REPORTS TO

Youth Specialist Supervisor determined by designated shift.
