A candidate for a substitute licensed practical nurse position in the North Collins Central School District must meet the Civil Service requirements in job title and provide proof of valid NYS LPN license.

Must be fingerprinted per New York State Education Department.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Provides direct care to students
• Promotes a healthy school environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work as a member of a team
• Diligent record keeping skills
• Provides liaison services between school personnel, family and health care professionals
• Maintains student confidentiality and adheres to FERPA / HIPPA regulations
• Performs related duties as required or assigned by administration
