Title : Sr Backend Developer

Location : within 50 miles of Charlotte, NC 28105 (HYBRID)

Position : W2 Contract

Salary Range : 50 / hrw2- 55 / hrw2

Introduction

We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in the banking and financial services sector, particularly in corporate and commercial payments. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and supporting robust, scalable applications, working within Agile delivery teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Mandatory - Applicants must be able to work directly for our company on W2

Strong proficiency in Java development, with experience spanning Java 11 through to the latest versions

Solid experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture

Hands-on experience with OpenShift or similar container orchestration platforms

Experience working with at least one major cloud provider (Azure, AWS, or GCP)

Previous experience working in banking / financial services, with a focus on payments

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools

Understanding of SaaS solutions and integration with external vendors

Familiarity with security architecture and cryptographic components, including HSMs
